I look forwards to having a QSO with you on 500 Soon. In EI we have 501-504. Finbar EI0CF is a great signal on the band. We had a Daytime X/band QSO 500KHz/30M when I was in OY in the summertime.

    Hello Thor,

I am delighted to hear about Iceland now being able to use 500 khz.

My QTH is at Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland, the LOC
is I065IH. I retired from 34 years work at Malin Head Radio EJM
    last year ( 2009).
My main activity now is on 501 – 504 khz and would love to work you
    on MF.
In October 2008 my wife and I visited Iceland and I called in to see
the staff at TFA , now Icelandic Coastguard.
I can send you some pictures of my antenna, ATU and transmitters for
    MF.
    Best regards
    Finbar EI0CF
