We are allowed 10W ERP here. my antenna is I calculate about -11dBi
we worked out (probably not very accurately..) that EI0CF’s antenna system is in the ballpark of -4dBi. with good low angle performance. he does have a lot of copper invested in it though.
We have both had good results on the band and the propagation is very interesting, lots of QSB like 160m but much slower cycles.
EI0CF does very well on groundwave, even in the daytime but is location is nice and close to the sea.
It would be great to hear some TF stations on 500Khz

Nice to see that you have received the licence for 500 kHz. When can we expect the first signals on 600 m from your station ? Here in the Netherlands we are allowed to use 501 – 504 kHz with 5 W e.i.r.p.
