Cold shower

Today was very warm, more than 15° C and it was necessary to cool down.

One of several waterfalls in Otradalur made the perfect cold shower.

Due to recent warm weather, the water temperature was quite reasonable.

      I did sneak in a cassette recorder to that concert. It is a remote possibility that I may still have it somewhere.

    Lovely water feature though, plenty of oxygen. Should be good for a pico hydro?

      A hot day, as it were, from my point of view, is one which is above the freezing point… :-)

      My plan is indeed to harness the waterfall. With about 30m of head, I expect a minimum of 25kW of power at the minimum flow of the river.
      The waterfalls are located about 2km from the house, which call for a costly high voltage buried cable. I have acquired two identical 380/5kV 50kW 3ph transformers which can be used back to back. Perhaps in a few years time.
