The ‘F’ in DXFC stands for ‘Feet’: countries in which you have stepped foot. This is for licensed radio amateurs who like travelling. We DXers know all about DXCC so this is just our bit of fun. It works with the same 337 current ‘entities’.
I have always kept a note of the number of DXFC entities I have visited
Participants are Radio Amateure from around the world, with N7PIB leading the table with 287 DXCC entities visited.
My own score is 53 countries visited and have operated from 11 DXCC entities.
I also claim visits to The Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia where I also operated from and to two countries
that never were and have now disappeared into history: Srpska Krajina and Bihac, both regions in the Former
Yugoslavia that declared independence. I even own a genuine Srpska Krajina national flag.
