I have built a reversible two wire beverage antenna with the following dimensions:

Length:  170m
spacing between conductors: 63 mm for Zo = 450 ohms
wires:  AWG #9 AlumoWeld with a breaking strength of 900kg (2,000lbs)
Direction:  14 degrees (Tokyo, Japan)

The antenna is supported by 5 – 5 meter long wooden poles, each weighing approximately half a tonne.

I use a 150kg  rock as a counterweight to keep the wires tensioned.

I hope to be able to work many JA stations on the low bands next season.
